February 2021 was characterized by a double homicide in front of the Public Transportation Terminal in Aguadilla and three vehicle collisions involving Públicos in the towns of San Germán, Mayagüez and Lares.

The double homicide took place outside of transit operating hours. The facility, although closed at the time of the incident, is in need of more police oversight. Information on this incident was previously posted on this site.

The incidents in San Germán and Lares occurred during outside of revenue service hours. Fortunately, no individuals were injured during these collisions and the collisions did not cause a disruption of the transit services.
